Osborne County Community Foundation (OCCF) is a charitable organization dedicated to strengthening Osborne County through philanthropy, grantmaking, and long-term community investment. OCCF helps donors support the causes they care about while building permanent endowments that provide ongoing funding for local projects, nonprofits, schools, and public initiatives. By connecting generosity with community needs, OCCF plays a vital role in improving quality of life and creating a stronger, more vibrant future for all who call Osborne County home.

Founded in 2017, Osborne County Community Foundation is affiliated with the Greater Northwest Kansas Community Foundation in Bird City, KS. It is governed by a board of 10 representing the Osborne County communities of Alton, Downs, Natoma, Osborne, and Portis.

Osborne County Community Foundation offers grants to support charitable projects that strengthen Osborne County. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, public entities, schools, churches, and government agencies.

OCCF holds four competitive grant cycles each year:

  • First Quarter – Applications due February 28
  • Second Quarter – Applications due May 31
  • Third Quarter – Applications due August 31
  • Fourth Quarter – Applications due November 30
